What difference does it make if other athletes cheat on their wives? Just because other athletes do it does that mean Tiger Woods has to do it too? Tiger Woods had it made, a lot of money, a beautiful home, a beautiful wife and he was well respected by a great many people. But because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants he lost his wife, his home, and a ton of money in a divorce settlement. How can you possibly think that what he did wasn't really dumb? I suspect a lot of people have lost all respect for the guy. I certainly have no respect for him now. I used to think he was a really great guy who overcame the odds and made it big. Now I see him as nothing more than just another jock with only one thing on his mind, and it isn't golf either.

It may have been a dumb move, but I don't respect him for his morals, I respect him for his ability to hit a little white ball into a little hole.

I forgot where I heard it stated like this ( I think some comedian said this), but can you really hate the guy for getting laid? In a lifetime, a normal married guy might have a random super hot chick throw herself at him 10 times, and act on it only once. I'm sure he had hundreds of these opportunities each year...no one is perfect.

I am an older guy, and I believe cheating on your spouse is immoral. Others are entitled to their opinion, but I think it is just plain wrong. I suppose if we were to follow the logic of some of the members here, then if your wife has several affairs it should be OK because after all, who can blame someone for getting laid? Or is it just OK for guys to do it, but women are not allowed to do the same thing?

People can respect anybody they want, that is their choice. Personally, I used to think Tiger Woods was nice guy. I no longer feel that way. I don't hate him, and I don't wish him bad luck or anything like that. I just have no respect for him anymore because of what he did. I am sure Tiger won't lose any sleep simply because I lost all respect for him, and as far as I am concerned, he can have all the women that money can buy. I imagine he probably will too.

From what others have said here, I guess having extra-marital affairs is pretty much OK these days. Well, it may be OK for others, but as for myself, I don't approve of it and I have no respect for people who treat their spouse in that fashion.
