"I'm so sorry," Woods said, leaning down to shake Yates' hand. "Hang in there."

Woods asked if help was on the way. Tournament marshals assured him it was. Woods, who wound up making birdie, returned to give Yates the glove and a ball.

Tiger Woods cared. Not like he intentionally aimed for him, the guy was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Now maybe Tiger can get some endorsment contracts from a hard hat company or a company that makes surgical thread. :D

That happened to a friend of mine. We were at the Masters, and Sam Sneed's ceremonial opening drive knocked him right out cold.

His main concern was not letting his name out. He was afraid of getting ripped on Imus in the Morning about it.

Gross. Head injuries are usually that way... lots of blood from relatively minor injuries.

What type of club did he use? Must of hurt, but It was bound to happen sooner or later.

Tiger did the right thing. I doubt he could have done anything anyway. if there is an injured person around you, do what you can do to help. if you know nothing, just double check to make sure help is present or on the way, and then leave. hovering around an injured person doing nothing is just being in the way.

now you know why most fans carry umbrellas to a golf tournament. and it's not for rain or sunshine.
