Tiger Woods 12 for iOS FREE

I guess since the older versions sucked horribly they are trying to get some promotion out of it. I really like it. Only thing that drives me crazy is the announcers other than that good game. Very high quality and certainly doesn't feel like a freebie.

Oh, it's "free" for a reason... you need to pay cash for upgrades or invite a bunch of your Facebook friends to get them.

It seems like the Facebook game mentality of having to pay up (or play for a REALLY long time) to be a top player is creeping into other game genres.

Not really. It's perfectly playable as is. If you feel the need to upgrade your player to max stats right from the start then you can buy in game cash but I certainly don't see the need to have an enjoyable experience with it.

Yeah... but I'm sick of finishing in 12th place in PGA matches because my drive isn't long enough and my putting skills are weak. I wanna WIN, dammit!

You could be fully maxed in the original in about 3 tournaments.
