Here they come, all the TD bashers. Unlike most of them I have purchased about $5000 worth from TD on 15-20 different occasions. I have never once had a problem with their service or rebates. Just my experience. Great deal by the way

is that peak rating or continuous?

PS rebate is through onrebate.com and the vidcard is through PNY, it looks like. unless onrebate.com is tigerdirect, they both are 3rd party.

I know TD has a bad rep with their rebates, but that was a year ago. Since then, I think they have clean up their act. I'm saying this because I haven't seen anyone complain about TD rebates lately in the past 6 months. If you're in the market for a 7800GT, this is a pretty hot deal.

I've claimed a bunch of rebates from them and not one didn't pay. In fact, they're among the fastest rebates I've dealt with.........

PNY has always scared me. Anybody have hands-on experience with this card?

I've dealt with TD and their rebate only on one occasion. Their support staffer was a bit iffy on the phone, but my stuff arrived with no problems. Rebate came around 4 months later, but that was from Syntax.

Been running a PNY 6600GT for a long time now. PNY makes good stuff, they just usually get passed over for the bigger name companies and their longer or lifetime warranties

Dang, I purchased my EVGA 7800GT the 460/1100 version like 2 weeks ago. It came with COD2, but not the PSU. :( Oh wellz, I'm happy with my video card. works great!

I would sell the psu on ebay. Ultra psu's are terrible quality, I've had two fail within six months.

I agree with Cheese, the Ultra brand of PSUs are complete crap. Lifetime warranty is to just lure customers in. Would you want to waste ur time having to constantly ship the PSU back for warranty?

Which models of Ultra power supplies went bad?

Ultra X-Connect PSUs are junk. Ultra X-Infinity PSUs look pretty good according to some reviews I've seen, and are Nvidia SLI certified. But personally, I would think twice before using even the 600W unit in an overclocked system.

Ijust got mine. The PS is one heavy sucker. No COD2 game though. Am I blind? I do not see that it is a mail-in for the game or anything?

The offer is supposedly for a limited time, not sure how "limited" it is though.
