Has anybody out there had trouble with a Win 7 pc screwing with the IP addys on a local area network with Power Mac/Tiger and Pc/Win XP computer's attached with T-100 cables through a high speed switch?

We loaded Win 7 on a dell Workstation and our dynamic IP address function went from working to not. Our Mac 'puters couldn't find each other. PC's too. Only got things back to normal after the Win 7 PC was disconnected from the T-100 wire.

Any idees?

I take it you've done the obvious and checked to make sure the Win7 PC isn't running a DHCP server of its own?

The set-up looked more or less like the same options you get on XP Pro, but maybe that's the case.

Is there a diehard Win 7 guy in the house?

Since nothing on the Mac side changed, your best bet would be to take this to either networking or software for windows.
