So where's a good place to get some decent looking ties?

I found a few that are in the $40+ range that I like... and everything else that I find anything cheaper are ugly as sin.

I must be shopping at the wrong places.... Any suggestions?

Yeah, my best looking tie was a $50 number. Most of my others are decent, but in the $15-30 range. I generally get mine at department stores.

edit: The place I linked has some crappy ties. 😀
 
I had to buy a tie this weekend for a charity event we had to go to. I was in the same dilemma. I was shopping at Robinsons May (mall dept store). The ones that looked good to me were $40. I found one in the clearance rack that I like, a darker blue Kenneth Cole. I left it on the rack as I looked around, and then some lady picked it up. Then I REALLY wanted it. Fortunately, she put it back, and I grabbed it and ran. I think after their 20% coupon, I got it for $11. WOO HOO!
