From a cost/load standpoint, it is A LOT more expensive than regular detergent. You better believe it!

Tide liquid detergent 96 loads: $17.97 = $0.19/load

Tide Pods 72 cts (loads): $17.97 = $0.25/load

It's 32% more costly to use Tide Pods than just regular Tide liquid detergent. P&G is hoping for more consumers like you so they can rake in more profit!

i always overfilled the cups though. i never had the patience to hold it up in the air and watch where that line is. and i would spill it sometimes too, causing a mess that i would never have to spend cleaning up if i would just use the pods.

ive been doing laundry all day. i have been doing this shit for over 15 years now and i am just loving these pods. its like when the downy ball came out...

6 cents isn't going to break the bank for me. Though I do get what you're getting at. I also always overfilled the regular detergents like wirednuts as well.

Really? If you have trouble filling a cup to the line, you probably shouldn't do more difficult stuff like, you know, driving a car, frying an egg, making cool-aid, normal shit like that.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

We have soft water and it took awhile for me to convince my wife we don't have to use as much soap now that our water is softened as we did before. We buy the bulk SEARS soap also when its onsale and save a crapton over TIDE or other stuff.

I previously was a vendor to P&G, so I had some bias towards this product. Convenience and ease - just like the dishwash pacs. The fiancee made a good point though - if you're running a small or even a medium load - you can't half the pac. We switched back to the normal liquid.

then youre wasting the extra 15 cents in electricity because half loads arent efficient either
