the gay community is an election cycle behind the curve... they are still using jesse jackson's methods (whine after losing that the other side is mean) when they should have used obama's (if someone says they'd vote for you get them on a bus)...

maybe they can hire bo's team to run their get out the vote drive next time...

I can certainly see an improvement in methods, but it's ridiculous to say that they are "whining" when a majority of the people voted to restrict their rights as citizens. We can talk about tactics all we want, and there SHOULD be such a discussion, but don't forget that these are real people getting pissed on by the voters here...they have every right to be angry, don't you think?

i think that their 'angry' tactics will backfire on them... why don't they use that energy in a positive way? i can guarantee that the mormons aren't going anywhere, and they will be 'justified' in opposing anything for these psychotic, uncivilized beasties due tho how they are acting towards a group that was just excersizing their political right...

That would appear to include even the dogmatic religious wingnuts who want to deny the same rights to other citizens who don't happen to accept your brand of KoolAid.

Maybe, instead, it would be a better idea to outlaw marriages between Christians, or at least to prohibit churches from performing marriages recognized under civil law, because they don't want to allow others to enjoy the same civil rights, privileges and duties afforded to other citizens.

Who cares what some facist nazi Gay Activists Say? It is tyrany to let a few people force an entire nation to the will of some Gay Activists, that all of traditional Americans consider wrong. The people have spoken!

So what the gays are saying is they are upset because a few mormons proved that they have better organization and are better at delivering their message of Morality, which is something gay people do not have. When good people say nothing evil wins. When good people organize and speak up then evil shows its true face. On thing is sure the gay activists are looking more and more evil.

All opponents of gay rights are fighting a losing battle. Young people shot down Prop 8. 70-30. Gay marriage is the next major Civil Rights issue in this country.

You're simply standing in the way of progress, fighting a battle you will lose. But go ahead and keep pouring millions thinking you're going to stop social progress.
