Stubhub has tickets for a ton of concerts. http://www.stubhub.com/concert-tickets/

I've both bought and sold tickets with them with no problems. If the event isn't sold out, a lot of times you can get tickets for below face value (or at least for cheaper then ticketmaster when considering fees).
 
It's pretty awesome how you get to pick between a fee for ticket delivery or a fee for printing your own ticket.
 
buy at venue. i'm wondering why someone that just sits around at home all day doesn't start a service to buy tickets for people.

The only way around it is if you're somehow fortunate enough to have a venue within a reasonable distance of your home that isn't owned by Ticketmaster.

Yep, last time I had to use them, I chose the only "Free" option, which was they print them and then snail mail them to my home. They even charge you for will call, WTF?

It was sarcasm. The evidence is that Pearl Jam died in the 90s, and Tickmaster lives on!
 
I ordered tickets for last saturday, the tickets were $30.00, and I payed $50.00 on ticketmaster because of the fees. I was furious.
 
I bought ALCS tickets for the White Sox on ticketmaster, and obviously they got knocked out early by the Rays. So I got my ticket price refunded, but not the ticketmaster fee. What a bunch of cunts.
 
I just wait for the concert DVD to come out. Even better if they can start releasing them on Blu-Ray. If not, no biggie, I didn't miss anything.

Should change the subtitle to "or how I learned to stop caring about ticket prices and love getting my ass raped."
 
Last time I got raped by them, I think the processing charge was more expensive than the convenienve charge. Or maybe I was so traumatized, I mixed them up.
