I just got a ticket for not having an insurance card. The cop said as long as I bring in my insurance card to the courthouse, the ticket will get dropped. Will this effect my insurance rates in anyway?

He said I rolled a stop - which I didn't. He only wrote that I had no insurance on the ticket.
