I'm trying to convert temperatures, but the calc keeps giving me "Error: Inconsistent Units". For example, I type:

54_0Carrow_0F

and it gives me the error. How do I convert temperatures?
I don't get this error doing any other type of unit conversion...

BTW, the '0' are degrees symbols, and arrow is the arrow symbol.

Temperature conversions: You cannot use the approach described above, even though temperature and its units are listed in the unit conversion menu. You must use the tmpCnv function, accessed by pressing CATALOG and scrolling down until you find it (or, by typing in tmpCnv a letter at a time). So, to convert -35 oC to oF, proceed with the following keystrokes, after you have tmpCnv( displayed: (-) 35 GRN MODE 2nd | ALPHA ) , GRN MODE 2nd | ALPHA | ) ENTER. Presto?, you get -31 oF.
