Circuit city has the ti83 plus for 99.99 - 20 mir - 10 instant savings = $69.99
Not bad considering these are around $85 at other places.

Circuit should price match Staples at $84.94 and -20 MIR -10 Instant that should bring it down to $54.94. Staples price is on the cover of their weekly flyer. Now that would be a deal.

I have not had good luck PM with Office Supply stores at CC.

CC should match the $84.94 and then maybe give you the $20 MIR. They will not match the $84.94 and then take off the $10 Instant Rebate. I think your best bet is to get this for $64.94 + tax after PM & MIR @ CC. You can get it for that @ Staples if you use a $20 off coupon. There is another thread about this deal @ Staples.

Yeah that is probably correct but since they went with hourly only and not salary, the kids they have working there sometimes don't care and you might get the extra ten dollars. And where I live the CC is next door to staples and I have had them price match before at this location. But $64.94 is a good price.

I just paid $130 at costco for one might return to get cc one. Do do they come with the usb link cable as well? Also can someone post rebate links/details exp date.. thanks

As I understand it, the USB cable only comes with the deluxe special edition unit which has 9x the memory and 2x the speed of the base unit but is otherwise identical.

I think you got the Silver Edition if you paid $130. It's 2.5x faster than the standard TI-83+. It also includes more preloaded applications. It should also include a Free graph link cable.

For $130, why did you get the TI83 over the TI89 (unless the 83 was required)?

i remember my calculus class forbid the use of TI89 because it was able to solve differential and integration equations w/ variables.

I think the CC rebate expired earlier this month. Deal is dead.
