Which of these cards would you suggest? The prices are only $16 apart, so that isn't much of a factor. I just want the one with best performance, and overclocking ability. Also, does the Gainward come with any kind of warranty, like the Visiontek?

Talking about performance, i would rather chose the gainward ti550.
Look at this review if you havent.

Tom Hardware is looking better for me. Anand seem to be in vacations.

Gainward's website seems to be constantly down, and I've never heard a good comment about their customer service.. I can't figure out whether the warranty/good service behind the visiontek is worth a small drop in overclockability.

I would still get the cheaper of the two, unless there is a difference in memory rating.

the ti-550 is a ti-500 chip, gainward just calls it a ti-550 cause they encourage OCing.

Not all Gainward cards have good memories. My gainward Ti/450 GS card's memories can be oc'ed as high as 500MHz with RAMSINKs but the Leadtek replacement goes to 525 Mhz and is without RAMsinks. I wonder if RAMsinks make a difference in that respect. Both cards hare 4.0ns ETRONTECH memories....at least the Leadtek card for sure though I am not sure about the Gainward card.
