ti4600 or 9600 pro 256mb?

have both video cards infront of me right now and which one should i choose? please note that the 9600 pro 256mb is a powercolor ez one which runes (400core/200mem)...


ti 4600 - 300core/350mem
9600 pro 256mb - 450core/200mem (mem won't even oc a bit...)

which one is better in doom3/half life 2/farcry?

No need whatsoever for >128mb ram on cards of that caliber, only adds to the price. Probably slower ram than on the 128mb version as well. I'm guessing the 4600 is probably a smidge faster.

4600 IMO as long as the 9600 is an ez pro

4600 probably better in DX8.1 stuff and the 9600 in DX9 and games with high AF/FSAA settings
