Im not sure what drivers I should use, so I decided to go with the newest detonators, however, now the Nvidia Refreash Rate Fix for WinXP doesnt work.

so, to ask the same question eveyone else has been asking & add another question to it.

1) What detonator Drivers should I use with my new GF4 Ti4600?
2) And how do I get the refresh rate fix to work with these drivers?

Man, this refresh rate problem in WinXP is getting REALLY ANNOYING!

Thanks.
Im downloading them now.

Are they just hacked for the refresh rate fix to work or does the hack also do something else?

I cant read that site, I have enough trouble with my own native language. LOL ;)

I thought you could just edit the monitor.inf to remove the lower refresh rates you don't want/use?

You don't need any hack version of the detonator or edit the ini file. All you need to do is go here and download a free utility called MultiRes. Install it and then go in to the About MultiRes and check the Lock Refresh Rate option. After that, one at a time, switch to the resolutions and refresh rate you want. This works for D3D and OGL games. It works great for me with 27.42. I don't use 27.70 because my system don't like this version for some reason. The only draw back is that, while in a game, say quake3, if I change the resolution within the game, the refresh rate seems to revert back to 60hz. To fix that, I just quit the game and re-adjust the refresh rate while on the desktop and go back in the game and it is where you set it.
Thanks to the person who posted this method. I found it in a forum somewhere, I forgot where though. Thanks man!

You could also just edit your config file in OpenGL games and overide the refresh rate with the dxdiag.exe. This is what I'm doing since the refreshrate fix started giving my minidump errors.
