Well, I got my Asus V8440/TD the other day and here are my experiences

- The card is freaking large! I had to move my harddrives to another drive cage to get everything to fit. I haven't seen anything like this since my old sound cards.

-The card is freaking fast! Every game I play just flies by (GTA3, Jedi Outcast, etc), even with Quincux AA and 8x Anisotropic and 1024x768@85 *yum*

-The 2D quality is razor sharp! I've heard some dissing of the 2D output quality of Nvidia-based cards but I thought my old GF2 provided a good output. However, after
putting this baby in all I can say is: DANG! There is really a noticeable difference when running Windows and it's really sharp now. I haven't tried any never ATI or Matrox
cards but all I can say is that this is pretty darn good.

I can definately recommend one of these babies. The only downside is the price (I snagged it when a retailer had a special price for one week only, saved me around 70$).

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Same here, I got the MSI TI4400 today and it is unreal. I love playing with all graphics settings on max, with 4X AA, and 8X Anisto. I came from a Radeon and the image quality for me is no different on the GF4.

Have fun!

If you think this card is large, wait till you see a Voodoo 5000 series or 6000 series cards! They are elephants compared to the Geforce 4 Ti series! Also, check out some professional end cards. They are rather large too (as some have multiple processors and sdram slots).

I tested 3DMark2001SE and got around 947x-948x with 29.42

A friend of mine just got his spanking P4 2 GHz, 512MB, WD 7200rpm 120GB 8mb hdd and Ti4600 and he gets 9500-9900 (a bit odd, it can diff 300 points
between to runs done after another).

Now if you compare the 3DMark points he has in advantage and how much more cheaper my rig has been, well, guess who's on top? :D

Oh, and my case doesn't say "Compaq" on the front. ;)
