Time for a new video card and I need some help. I am just not the same gamer I used to be and I think don't need a 9700, NV30 or ti4600, but I still want a decent card, I need some help from you fellas as I have been out of it for a while. My gut is to go for a souped up 4200 (which one has the best memory and overclocks well?), but I really want good 2D, but I very skeptical about ATI as I have had nothing but bad luck with them and their drivers and software. I am leaning on staying with nvidia because I can install or change up their drivers with my eyes closed. I am more of a tweaker than a gamer and I do like to benchmark, so I want decent power, but not $350 power. Can I get some opinions please? Also, if brand matters, say for a ti4200, please let me know.
Thanks,
LJ
