TI4200 or not?

I've been looking to get a decent card (~$100 or less) for 3d gaming. Anyone know the best deal on a Ti4200 128mb right now? I've already hit, pricewatch, pricegrabber, etc. Been scoping out a Jaton for about $115. Anyone have any experience with Jaton?

Or maybe you think there's a better option? I've read about every review and thread I could find, and I swear I'm stumped? I know the FX 5600 cards do DX 9, but Ti4200 seems to be the most bang for the buck as of this very moment.

I'm running an Athlon 1.3 (overclocked to 1.4) with a Shuttle AK31 mobo and 512mb of pc2100 ddr so I'm thinking I can hold off upgrading that for another year if I can find a decent graphics card to get rid of my old GeForce 2 mx 32mb.

Thanks

While I am a big fan of the Ti4200 cards (I own 3 of the 128 mb versions), I would not recommend one for $115 when you could get This for only $120 shipped. It should be quite a bit faster than a Ti4200 as well as supporting DX9 and much better performance with FSAA enabled. The ti4200's are awesome, but only if you could pick up a decent brand for less than $100. My last two were 128 mb Asus cards from Compgeeks for $89 plus shipping, new oem factory pulls. They work great, but that FX5600 Ultra with 400/800 for only $120 shipped is a better deal, if you can afford it. Certainly better than a Jaton Ti4200 for $115. JMHO.

DanD - I was thinking new, but those were good for reference. Seems a used Ti is still in the $80 range. I'm trying to talk myself into that 5600 Ultra at Newegg that Novice pointed out. Looks good, new technology, and has comparable 3DMark scores for my setup.

Lemme see, how many hours overtime do I gotta work to make that happen? hehe...

Thanks for the input guys.

UPDATE - Just bought a Gainward Ti 4200 Golden Sample. Only 64mb of ram, but supposed to overclock great. Hope I didn't get burned too bad at $89 from Newegg...

Any thoughts? (be gentle plz)

Not bad since you needed to stay on the budget. Ti4200s are nice cards. They OC well...get coolbits. Novice's recommendation was probably a better value for only about $30 more. Either way, you will like the Ti4200. Enjoy.
