Ti4200 and DirectX 9

Does anyone know if the Ti4200 will support DirectX 9? Anyone from inside ms perhaps? I know I am hoping for too much, and a good 4 months early, but I want to know if I should buy it now or not. Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problem running DX9 on your system, but the GF4 line will not take advantage of any new features in DX9. You'll need a R300 or NV30 for that.

It'll run DX9 applicatios of course, but it doesnt support any of DX9's new features.

The only boards presently available that incorporate even partial DX9 feature-set is the Parheila, and WildCat VP.
