How does this processor compare to other mobile processors like apple a5

You know, these things aren't exactly hard to find with a simple Google search, but here you go anyway. Falls somewhere between the A4 and the A5 graphically, depending on the task. The CPU cores are probably similar enough the difference there is negligible between the OMAP and other SoCs that use two unmodified Cortex-A9 cores.

the main difference is a power vr sgx 540 vs sgx 543.

the cores are cortex a9 but most omap 4 4430s are 1.0 (Bionic, archos g9 80 to 1.2 ghz (razr phones), and apple clocks the a5 at 800 or 1ghz (ipad).

so for 3d the a5 will be faster. the omap will probably be faster on computational stuff given its clock speed advantage
