TI-89 Users - Question

I'm trying to do something simple like finding the integral of something but keep getting an error that says there is a non-algebraic variable in the expression. I get this error even with the example in the manual, is there a setting I have incorrect somewhere or maybe it's something else I'm incorrectly?

Are any of the variables you're using already defined as something (else)?

try going to the var-link section and clearing out the memory for all your variables.

I was trying it myself with the integral of 3 with respect to x to see how this works.
