With that hot deal going on the TI-83+, seems it time I got the same calculator as everyone else. The calculator I have now is a TI-85. I'm going to be taking Algebra and Trigonometry I (Description: study of elementary functions including linear functions, quadratic functions, polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and right triangle trigonometry), so think it's to my benefit to get the new calculator? I think I've already done like half the things in the description, anyone test me on it? To explain my situation as to why I'm taking it is because I'm a senior in HS and have gone through all the math classes they offer, so I'm going to a local community college to get some credits. Thanks for any help.

Yeah it doesn't matter, for that math class a sicentific would suffice. Therfore I would jsut keep the 85 until you take some calculus classes in the future where it would be helpful to have the 89. Oh btw what highschool only offers up to algebra/trig I .

:disgust:

Just keep the 85 till you get to higher level math courses. 83+/85 is fine from algebra 2 till like calc+.
