The TI-82 was a beast. I love my 89 Titanium, but will there will always be a special place in my heart for the 82.

Whichever one was the black one (thought TI-85) was the best one. It could play the best games.

Then my friend had this one that looked like a freaking game gear. I think it was the TI-92.

This was like 9 years ago in highschool heh.

I had a TI-92. That thing was a beast, but it was fun to graph in 3d (big deal at the time).

One of my friends would always swear by his HP... I've always wanted to play around with one of those for a bit.

My friends with the HP graphing calcs can't figure out how to use 95% of the features.

that would be the TI-86
I've had two ti-86s, but when my most recent one went haywire I got a TI-89 titanium.

Man I love the Ti-89 titanium, the native USB is way better than the old serial crap they used to have, and the stuff it can do is amazing, I just wish they would add more functions for financial stuff, so I didn't have to carry my BA-II-Plus with me.

What'd it have, like 64kb of total storage?

Might have been 640kb.

Nope, it was 28kb :Q (probably 32kb with 4kb reserved for the system)

(Your programs were stored in RAM with a battery backup, there was no really permanent storage that would survive your batteries dying + the backup coin cell dying)

I think mine was an 85 or so. All I remember is that when programming it you couldn't draw gray directly. So you have to setup multiple areas of memory for the screen and flip between them quickly. If some had the pixel on and some had it off, then you got your gray.

My 48G pwns joo.

It will be a sad day when my 48GX dies (purchased in 1996).
Why would your 48GX die??

I just replaced the batteries in my 48G last night. I use it every day. I bought it in 1993 for like $85 at Best Buy. I didn't want to spend the extra money for the new GX model.
