I RMA'd my old PNY Ti 4400 and got back a Visiontek Ti 4400 retail boxed card. I installed it on my system which had the 30.82's and a temporary Ti 4200 in it . When I loaded up the new Ti 4400 it prompted me to install drivers. So I DL'd the 30l82's again and reinstalled them, low and behold the card shows up as a Ti 4600. I of course manually put it back to a 4400, but has this happened to anyone else? Maybe I got a 4600 by accident, but I seriously doubt that since it was retail boxed. Just a question for the anandtech minds.

Funny thing, the Video Card BIOS doesn't show up in the start anymore. It did prior to this with the Ti 4200, but not anymore. I didn't change anything except the card. It's a conspiracy and I am breaking the news to all, Ti 4400's posing as Ti 4600's. This is the latest development in the war on terrorism. Now they are terrorizing the gamin industry, will the madness ever stop?
