Altougth it was entertaining, I had thought that it seemed to be just another remake of Logans run until I found out that it was precursor to it:

Logan's Run: 1976

Overall, it was an interesting film. The plot was purposely thin, but still enjoyable. Logans Run ahd more content, but the effects music, and overal conservative nature of this film was more realistic...the car chase seen was great too.

Oh, and the HD transfer was excellent😀
 
did you also know that THX1138 (the feature film) was based upon the student film Lucas made at film school? The original title was Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB.

Absolutely! I saw this before I left in January. The car scene in the tunnel was interesting. The other guy that didn't make it (crashed into a column) created a disturbance rarely encountered in the theater. Despite the control of extraneous effects of high SPL, the animals were quite disturbed in their kennels over 100 meters away as if we were under attack!

It scared the sh!t out of me as well.

Love realism like that.
