SANS mentions that Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 has been released and fixes some security vulns, including one critical vulnerability. They've got a link to the update as well.
On the topic of vulnerabilities in third-party software, there've been some significant vulnerabilities identified within the last month, so people may want to
(1) review their installed software and uninstall stuff they don't actually use/need, and
(2) check the other stuff using Secunia's Personal Software Inspector to see if they've got an easily-exploited version of Flash, QuickTime, WinAmp, Java, Skype, IM, etc.
