I been reading how great Thunderbird is and all and it sound exciting but i was wondering if it will work the same way as Outlook at work where we have a Exchange server running?

Even thought we have an exchange server at work most our emails are saved into the local user computer.

So will it work?

I already made the switch to Firefox.

If your Exchange server requires MAPI, no it won't work. If you have enabled the 'extra' servers like IMAP, then yes it will work.

I've been using Thunderbird now since version .3. I like it. And the price is definitely right.
