I am looking to get 128 MB of PC133 for my 800MHz sktA Tbird. I've read that some brands of memory aren't compatible with it. Can anyone recommend any brands of memory to get. Price IS a consideration, as I am a college student. I suppose I should avoid generic memory? Thanks.

I`m using Crucial PC133 CAS2 ram you can use the CAS3 version if you want to save money here are the codes for memory (at Crucial.com)

CT16M64S4D75 CAS3 128MB

CT16M64S4D7E CAS2 128MB

btw I`m using a Thunderbird 900mhz on MSI K7T PRO no problems rock stable.

a lot of generic will work. Even on old athlon boards. I personally use micron only because i can get it cheap, but i'm also a college student and if i couldn't get micron cheap i'd go to a store (brick and mortar) one and ask them if i could try them. If you can go to a fry's that would be a good bet.
