I have been using Thunderbird for a quite sometime now.

I currently have 4 email addresses setup in it.

I have kind of a problem/annoyance with one of the addresses. ( I have not really tested the others ).

Whenver I send an email from that account, the recipient receives the email from that address but when they hit reply, it wants to reply to a different address.

Example:
My email accounts are: email@email.com
anotheremail@email.com

When I send an email using anotheremail@email.com and the recipient hits reply...the reply is defaulted to go to email@email.com...I have not been able to figure it out.

Does anybody have an idea on what to do...other than having to use the reply-to option within the account settings?

Are both email@email and anotheremail@email both accounts in your Thunderbird? If so, when you send an email, make sure that anotheremail@email is selected from the dropdown list in the compose window. When you compose, you have to select which account to send from.

go to your account settings and make sure that the "reply-to address" is set to empty.
(not sure where it is in thunderbird, but on mozilla, it is "mail and account setting > (your account name) > Reply-To address)
