Thunderbird .8, way overdue

the roadmaps say it was to be released in july, i was finally hoping to convert since one of its features will be a easy to set up global inbox for multiple pop3 accounts. any idea when it should be released or if any of the nightly builds have a easy to set up (GUI) universal inbox?

any new build of thunderbird is good for me. it's made my life so much simpler.

I've never wanted a global inbox, but that's just me and my multiple personalities

Global inbox works but it's still primitive compared to the way OE handles it. What essentially happens is that for each account you specify to use a global inbox, TB hides the account folders and forwards the messages from the hidden inbox to the global one. The account folders are still there, however, and filters will still operate on them even though you have no way of seeing what's inside.
