Thunderbird 1.5 problem

When I click reply thunderbird takes 100% cpu for about 5 seconds. and then
is ok. It opens the compose box, stays there for a while and then updates the
email ids, original text etc.

This is only on linux. On windows its fine. And only on reply.
To write a new mail, its ok.
Anyone else seeing this?
