I currently am using ACDsee to update/create a simple .jpg post for my son (so family members and friend around the world can check in) and its just too cumbersome at this point. Too many pictures and simply too ugly.

Is there a prgram out there that will allow me to subsequently add new pcitures to the mix, thumnail them and edit the HTML? Rather than batching them all in ACDSee?

Thanks.

There are lots of freeware projects for Linux that do this. I've written one myself, but never released it due to the apparent glut. Most use ImageMagik (I should have posted that on the favorite linux programs thread!)
I think compupic will do it also, and that is available for Windows.

I use a similar program to ACDSee and I solved the problem by only doing updates in batches. Since it's such a pain to manually add a few pics I wait until I at least have five then have it create the thumbs and pages.

Then I upload the thumbs/pages and create a link to it on the main page.
