I have a P182.
I like that I can open the side panel easily with thumb screws.
I'd like to get thumb screws for the other side panel also. But, it uses smaller screws.

Where can I find smaller thumb screws that can be used on the P182 right side panel?

Thanks!

Have you tried your local Mom and Pop computer store? I remember seeing various thumbscrews at my local store. I don't know if they had the size you are looking for though.

I ordered a set online. After I received them, I realized that the threads on the left panel and right panel were different.

The thumb screws I ordered were exactly the same as the ones on the left panel.
They seem to be slightly larger than the screws on the right panel.

I am just curious if anyone else has gone through this already and found more information and options.

I used some thumbscrews I had ordered at SVC long ago. They fit right in there for the 180B's right side panel. Check out the 2.50/10 versions at SVC.com .

They are a standard coarse thread screw used to mount hdd's, expansion cards, psu's, etc. You could probably call Antec and get some for free or the cost of shipping only.

I have ordered thumb screws from svc also.

I don't know why I had thought that the two sides had different thread sizes!
I just tried them and they fit perfectly!

Thanks!

Yeah, you may need to make sure the holes are lined up or it can be difficult to get them in there. Most cases use the same 6-32 size screws all around. Only the Lian Li use M3 thumb and other screws for their cases AFAIK.
