Thumb problems?

Nocturnal

Lifer
I just started having some thumb issues. My right hand thumb basically feels weak. Like if I try to grip something with it I am unable to put a lot of force like my left hand with my thumb is able to do. Did I sprain this or could it be carpel tunnel?

I don't know much about carpel tunnel, but if you can, go see a Dr. Nocturnal, better to be safe than sorry 🙂

if its consistent i would see a doctor. its possible that its just carpal tunnel, i have problems with my ulnar nerve from typing (pinky and ring finger get weak and fall asleep easily)

however there are alot of nuerological problems that it *might* be, small chance but you should have it investigated, they will do a simple nuerological screening (check balance, reflexes etc..)

It just started yesterday so if a few days rest doesn't resolve it I'll def. get it checked out. I just had blood drawn today and that was horrible so I don't want to do that twice within a week.

i doubt they will draw blood. sometimes they will check your muscle enzymes, but i dont think they would if its localized to your thumbs.
