It was a poor assumption and you deserve the beatdown.

Background story of this woman and her estranged husband.

This woman's husband (soon to be ex) got a lawyer to start the process of divorcing a few months ago. By Texas state law, you can not divorce until the child is born (she is currently pregnant) so he did have to wait for a while. She found out, and set him up as the fall guy (said it was him that sent the letters at first and now it was him that "forced" her to send the letters).

"Hell has no fury like a woman scorned" - old proverb. So true indeed. I think I will stay single for a while.
