I recently updated the bios on my a7v to the new 1008e beta bios and theres a new entry in there for thermal throttling. The only 2 options available are throttle and shutdown. At first i was rather pleased as this could save my cpu in some circumstances but the throttle kicks in @ only 56 degrees which is way low. In a heavy game such as q3 or B&W i regularly hit 56-58 and both games become unplayable to the point of the pc nearly crashing(i had to hard reset to exit the game) with throttling on and obviously if u have shutdown chosen the processor simply shuts right off. Anyone else experience any of this.
