Score anything good from a thrift store recently?

One of two recent scores from my local Goodwill:

-Virgin Mobile MiFi Mobile HotSpot
-$13.51
-No external signs of wear or use
-Seems to work (though I haven't purchased data)

Score?

I may as well find someone else who needs it since I get unlimited data on my phone already.

Pics of my other score coming...

Got this for $1.81:

Discgear Selector 100 (pr0n organizer)

-@#$%ing AWESOME
-Manufacturer used to charge $100 and now charges $60

This is the second Selector 100 I've found at my local Goodwill. I also found a Selector 50.

I love these things.

What is it, some type of heating pad?

In case you're serious..: It's a mobile WiFi hotspot (added to OP).

Bah... I hate seeing stuff like this because it reminds me how shitty thrift stores, goodwill, and yard sales are around my area.

Generally, the quality of goods is inversely proportional to the economic level of where the store is.

Wondering what will happen when you try to activate it on a network.

The first time I turned it on and connected through WiFi, I was able to see the previous user's usage and had an option to buy more data. If there's a credit card on file, it might charge the previous owner's card.

The manuals and paperwork have all the hand-written account details and passwords.

Goodwill stores around here get certain types of merchandise that had been returned to local Target stores. I have no idea why Target didn't send this back to the vendor and donated it to Goodwill. The previous owner probably never expected the passwords to end up with me.

Wasn't from a Thrift store but I picked up a Verizon Blackberry Tour 9630 last week for $5 at a garage sale. It's in practically new condition. Checked with Verizon and the ESN is free and clear.

I'm happy with my unlimited 4G service for $25/month with no contracts from Clear.

Unfortunately the moved all the local thrift stores into better neighborhoods. I wonder if they have one in Beverly Hills now and what kind of stuff they get.

Sweet score. You should run extensive tests before you store anything important on it. Someone may have dropped it.
Yea, I did the tests. It was from a local business after they closed--according to the files. I'm running it as my OS drive along with 1.5TB + 3 other drives.

Hmm...the auction is doing well; considering it's got 18 hours to go. Looks like I'm going to make a quick buck off the thing.

I usually don't have the motivation to sell the things I get from thrift stores, and they sit around until they are completely worthless...or I sell them to a friend at-or-below cost.
