three sound card rumble

I have narrowed my quest down to three sound cards. It's either the chaintech one thats so cheap and popular, the emu-1212 or whichever creative card is a good price/performance mix with xram. I listen to lots of music but also do lots of gaming and VOIP. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Lots of music AND lots of gaming? Get the original X-Fi Extrememusic while you still can.

Right. If you game, then the X-fi or an audigy 2 is the only way to go.

It doesn't have X-ram though. The Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty would be the cheapest one with that. (not saying X-ram is a big deal, just an fyi)
