Three-pin fan connectors

I took advantage of a hot deal on 39¢ 92mm fans and now I'm looking for info regarding putting on the three-pin fan connectors. Where would I pick up these connectors? Should Radio Shack have them or is it something I'll have to buy online? I'd do a search at radioshack.com but as I don't know what they are called it makes searching tough.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Good question OulOat. I learned the hard way (twice, as I didn't believe it the first time) that plugging in a 120mm fan into the header isn't a good idea, so it's entirely possible that these babies are going to draw too much power for what that header can handle. Maybe I'll just do the molex shuffle instead, and make sure that any CPU fan header alarms are turned off. I remember that completely screwing me up for awhile on my old KT7 before they did a BIOS fix to make that disable-able.

Thanks for the help, folks.

I'm guessing you got the NMBs from directron eh? What you could probably do is just buy one of the 3 to 4 pin molex connectors, and connect all your fans in parallel to that. That way, if you want to do the 7 volt mod, you only need to change one part and all the fans will be 7 volted.

My Mobo case fan connector is rated at 8.8 watts max. I want to connect a 120mm Vantec Stealth 0.96w power input. All other case fans to include the CPU fan are run from the PSU. I should be good to go with the fan on the mobo, dont ya think, or is there some magic I am missing.

Thanx in advance

You're missing the fact that the spec if quoted for the watts used to keep it turning. The watts at spin-up are far greater.
