They’re all old white guys, also a brief review of the comments with avatars appear to be white people.
I think the authors is missing her target audience or maybe she has hit a bullseye.
Regardless I’m not going to comment on the contents of the book because I haven’t read it.
I will say Republicans have some right ideas regarding a “cure” for poverty just most of their ideas are moronic.

Note: I’m doing some temporary holiday work to make a few extra bucks.

Don't have a black friend, not interested in the book.
Everybody you know came from families that were black but, due to the need to wear clothes in cold weather, had to lighten up or die. Everybody you know was once African including you.

So I do have a black friend? Am I woke and just haven't noticed?
This concerns me. Am I going to have to wear my hair in a man bun and quit shaving? Are cargo pant's still part of the official garb? What about Crocks? Dear God I almost forgot crocks. I can't wear crocks or Birkenstocks.

Is Breitbart still around? I may need an infusion of right wing extremist to get over this.

Candace Owens made the conscious decision to pivot from pure hatred of Trump to pure Trump-orbit grifter...and I think it’s paid off for her. Her public profile before Trump was non-existent. Now she is the literal face of Black conservatism.

I’m pretty sure she knows at the end of the day, White people are funding her lifestyle. Reparations y’all. She probably cracks a smile at that thought every night.

"Her arguments are largely intellectually dishonest and not rooted in fact, but rather in personal opinion. If there's one thing to be said, it's that the book essentially stands to be Owens' personal platform for her own tokenization and moral posturing. She never once defends the Black community nor criticizes American racism: she seemingly hates Black Americans and wants everyone to know it. " - a reviewer on the book, and about what I would expect.

The most important thing I can tell you that I can think of to answer your questions here is a comment by a Zen Master that still may not be of any immediate help but can maybe be filed away where it can seep into awareness at it own pace. "Everybody is enlightened. It would be nice to know it."

Yeah... That zen master needs to meet a couple fellows I know. He'd be singing a different tune.
