Does anyone have some experience with these? I'm looking to run at least six, maybe eight LCD's. I will be using dual-link video cards.

I should also add, I would prefer Quad Core Intel CPU and will be using Nvidia video cards.

Answering my own questions here, maybe.

I wanted to see if I understood this correctly, this board has four PCI-E slots and could support eight monitors with dual dvi video cards, right?

You can get PCI video cards too you know.

But I need performance from the video cards, and you can get 8xxx series Nvidias for a tad over a $100 now.

just note that the 4 physical x16 run @ x16, x16, x4, x4 on that board.

Well, that's indeed a killer board at a killer price tag. Not to mention it uses DDR3, which is quite expensive. You're talking about $100 video cards but your RAM is going to cost you quite a bit.
