Three errors, one of which is specific.

First problem: Microsoft's DEP is seeing the 'generic host process' as a possible mailicious threat and forces it to close. Then I get an error message saying it's encountered an error and had to be shut down. Then it boots up and I get the error message again. Wash, rinse, repeat. However, I left my computer on for a lengthy period of time when I was in school, and when I came back and closed the error box, the process wasn't given an error and forced to close... Anyway, to get to the point: How can I modify the DEP to not see the generic host process as something to close?

THis all began when I was forced to install the crappy WMP 11. I downgraded to 10 and this arose.

Second Problem: I believe this is related heavily to the first. When I restart my computer, windows explorer freezes and I have to end it and restart it to get it to work.

Third problem: My creative Zen Vision:M mp3 player's software seems to be slowing down my 'My Computer' page to a near standstill. Is there any way of fixing this? I suppose uninstalling the software is an option (since it sucks) but I don't think I can access the player without the software.

Well, thanks for any help given. Now I have to find a way to lower my blood pressure before my jugular bursts.

Sound like there is a compability issue, or you need some update on hotfix for your OS.
Cleaning the registry will not repair the software conflicting issues since softwares are not that reliable. Try updating your hotfix first!
Good luck! :)
