sounds like an innovative take on russian roulette.....perhaps this version should be titled "BOSNIAN ROULETTE"
 
pretty stupid. its as if they have no common sense. i mean WTF is gonna be playing catch with a hand granade. DUH!!!

the pin, it just fell out. a note for those that plan this in the future, check and make sure your grenade has no manufacturer recalls on it. You dont want that pesky pin fall out problem. Or perhaps the faulty explode after too many tosses with the pin still in.

but they must've been pretty close when throwing it around, for it to take all 3 of them out.

 
The blast occurred at 2:00 a.m. in the western town of Novi Grad at a place in the town center frequented by youngsters. Police said an inquiry was under way and declined further comment. It was not clear why the grenade exploded.

WTF? Maybe because that's what a grenade does by design? What did they think it'd do, sprout diasies?
