Three Asus K8N-E Questions

First, how do I disable the onboard firewall? When I try to change the settings, they keep going back to being displayed as "Low".

Also, I found it once, but I can't find it again, where is the BIOS setting to disable the CPU fan check?

Anyone having any trouble with the onboard NIC? When I use it, I can't get to the Internet reliably. When I plug in a PCI card, it works fine. What gives?

To disable the fan you go to system info. It will display the fan speed in rpms, where you can choose to ignore it.
