Threads temporarily disappear

Sometimes when I refresh the thread list, some threads dissappear. is this due to a response being posted?

My experience is that it is due to responses being posted to threads. Notice that the ones that were gone show up at the top of the list with a new post.

If a thread is being replied to when the page is refreshed, the link disappears. Just refresh the page again if its missing.

I thought the same things originally, but the thread will NOT reappear until I restart IE (5.01)

I've never had that problems with IE. A refresh is usually all it takes for the thread to appear again.
