Threads of more than one page always display as one big long page.

When a thread is shown as having more than one page, it always loads as one big long list. For example, this thread shows up on one page, even though in the thread list it shows pages 1,2,3, etc.

This generally isnt a problem as I have a decent connection and dont mind the wait (I would click on it if it wasnt worth reading!!) and I've put up with it for a long time. The only way I can get round it is by selecting a different option in the "Topic View" option at the top of thread and then selecting Linear afterwards (it defaults to linear).

I tried deleting the IE cache and cookies and history, logging out then back into the forums but no joy. It also does the same thing in Mozilla.

I thought there used to be an option to set how many replies to a thread you could see on one page but I cant find it.

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Changed example thread

You can change your view to linear for all threads via personal options in your profile. Hope this helps.

allisolm - you're a genius!! It was already set to Linear, but I changed it to something else, applied it, and then set it back and now it works!! YAY!!

Many thanks!!

Thank goodness, someone besides my parents finally realized it. 😀
