Hi,

with no intention to overclock, and obtaining the lowest cpu temp possible as the only goal, what cooler would you advice for a Threadripper 2990WX?

The only solution I can't manage to adopt, is a custom loop.

Thanks

Having this guy sit right smack next to your case with side panel open on a noctua TR heatsink.

You may need to elevate your case on a pedestal or something tho, so it gets the direct air flow.

no seriously why do you want the lowest possible temps when your not overclocking?
But being serious that AC blowing 60F air into your case will net you the coldest possible temp outside watercooling.

lmao.... u would pull incredible temps at the cost of your room temp going up.

It DOES have a window insert. Not sure if it's long enough to reach one of the windows, though. That's 1000W to drop temps about 12C. Might not be worth it.

OP would definitely have a cool 2990WX though!

What about a convenient desktop LN2 micro-injector mounted in a custom shroud for the Noc intake fan?

LN2 and Dewar available separately. ;-)

You have 2 choices, about the same, the wraithripper and the Noctura made for the TR4, I can't find the model number ATM, but you also need 2 fans for that one.
