How about banning people who purpoosely mis-represent the truth using thread titles?

People get ball up and arms and then they come to find out the thread title has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

IMO mis-leading thread titles are getting out of hand!

Peace!!

There is some leniency right now, but I think the mods do ask users to change the titles when they are deliberately misleading and not done for the sake of humor.
Sometimes they'll even change the titles themselves and put a statement in the OP.

I don't think banning is called for, except for someone who does it repeatedly after many requests by the mods to stop. I just don't see it as a ban-worthy offense in most cases.

I don`t think it is enough to ask the usere to change the title....or lock the mthread.
It is the same people in P&N who do this over and over....in other words they are abusing bthe priveledge to start threads!
