Thread Title: HELP... system won't boot. Did I trash my hdd? Can I extract a large outlook file?

To summorize, I've taken a troubled IBM 60GXP and installed it as a slave drive to extract a large 20MB outlook file. It won't copy. I would like to save it before I try to save the hdd.
