thread sorter?

I know someone had hacked together a forum thread sorter a while ago that let you show posts in order of date posted....what happened to this thing?

does the forum allow users to do this now?

phatty, but the one thing I miss the most is the quick search sorting by most recent at the top... now it's done via some formula which doesn't help on forums.

Thanks RossMAN. This thing is still alive but "moves" every month. The new URL is usually posted there a couple of days before a move.

Last month the URL started with "atsorter1". It is "atsorter2" now. something tells me it'll ve a "...3" next time it moves.

There is also another sorter, but it only sorts the Hot Deals forum.

roosster used to die on me intermittantly. the whole service they offer is periodically overloaded due to demand when they are pushed over their bandwidth limit. This happened a lot in my experience.

If you want reliability, go with the link posted in the original reply.

Also, would it be too much to ask that a thread with the current sorter be made sticky in the forums? It really is *that* useful.
